The building itself is an elegant, early 19th century palazzo located in front of the Goldoni theatre. There is a panoramic terrace for guest's, convenience available which also serves snacks. A La Commedia is one of the few hotels in Venice to be equipped to welcome disabled guests. Directions: From Venice's International Marco Polo airport (VCE) , take a walk to the marina/darsena where you can catch a water taxi (30 mins.) to Rialto Municipal dock (CA' FARSETTI) or the public waterbus ALILAGUNA (1 hour and 10 mins) and get, off at San Marco / Vallaresso. The hotel is located only c. 10 mins walking from the vaporetto San Marco / Vallaresso stop: Just off the ALILAGUNA stop walk straight and take CALLE VALLARESSO up to the end, then turn left and right and, follow FREZZARIA lane until CALLE TRON, turn right and 10 metres ahead, at a canal, turn left, keep the small canal on your right and walk on the FONDAMENTA ORSEOLO, cross a bridge called GOLDONI and keep walk straight in CALLE GOLDONI,, 50 metres ahead you'll reach a square called CAMPO SAN LUCA, take CALLE DEL FORNO and you'll be able to see the Hotel's entrance.,
